The Hmong Business Incubator (HBI) Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization that empowers individuals in underrepresented and underserved communities to overcome challenges in navigating business formation systems and processes. HBI creates an entrepreneurial environment that identifies business opportunities, achieves economic growth, and encourages innovation in the Hmong community. This approach, while Hmong-centric, is only the beginning.
What We Do
Business Technical Assistance
HBI offers a range of programs and services to equip individuals with organizational and leadership tools to start and run their businesses. These include the Small Business Workshops, which encourage an entrepreneurial environment that identifies business opportunities, achieves economic growth, and encourages innovation to create value in the community. The Start Thinking Talk Series generates ideas, makes them actionable, and creates long-term success. Additionally, HBI provides Business Technical Assistance, which includes coaching, training, and strengthening of entrepreneurial skills
